Spicy Queso Blanco Supreme
Ingredients
- 8 ounces ground beef or spicy sausage, cooked
- 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 8 ounces Pepper Jack cheese, cubed
- 8 ounces smoked Gouda, cubed
- 1 container diced green chilies (7 ounces)
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
- 6 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- ¾ cup half-and-half
- ½ cup red onion, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare all ingredients by chopping and cubing as needed.
- Cook sausage or ground beef in a skillet and set aside.
- In an oven-safe baking dish, layer cream cheese, smoked Gouda, Pepper Jack, meat, chilies, jalapeño, cilantro, onion, and half-and-half.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 30 minutes, or until fully melted.
- Stir well before serving.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
Alternative Slow Cooker Method
- Add all ingredients to a slow cooker.
- Cook on medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Top with chipotle Tabasco sauce before serving if desired.
